I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving Day weekend! Mine was filled with lots of food, family gatherings, a Christmas tree festival, and a very chilly photoshoot. We also had the first snowfall of the season! It stuck around just long enough for my nephew to build a snowman and then after that, it all melted. The only thing that’s left now is the freezing cold. Needless to say, we raced through this photoshoot as fast as possible.

Now that the temperatures have plummeted, it’s time to break out the winter coats. I went and scrounged around for my jackets and found this one. It’s rare that I’ll find a peacoat I like so when I ordered it a few years back, I was pleasantly surprised. I’m a fairly small person, so oftentimes peacoats overwhelm my frame. This one is an exception. It’s nicely tailored, fits well, and is a good length.

I also really like the buttons 😀

For this shoot, we went to an old covered bridge where love notes written in chalk decorate the inside.

We were here for about an hour and not one person passed by. I’m guessing on a day like this, most people were cozied up indoors. Smart…

Even though I’m not much of a winter person, I’m excited for December to come. My birthday is happening, then my brother is coming home, Christmas, and finally New Years Eve! It’ll be a busy month.

See you on Wednesday 🙂
