A Few of My 2018 Goals
Attend more local events
I think this is a really good way to meet new people and step outside my comfort zone a bit. I’m definitely an introvert so forcing myself to go to various events is always good for me. I’ve been spending some time in the evenings trying to find fun events and then jotting them down
Have a garden
I’m SO excited to have a garden this year! This might be the thing I’m most looking forward to in 2018. Sean and I will be planting our very first one and I seriously can’t wait. I just love the idea of walking out in the backyard and picking stuff for dinner.
I’ve never been great at planning and organizing so I really need to work on this in 2018. I’ve been trying to plan out my blog posts and YouTube videos a month in advance so I know exactly what I need to work on. This goes for my personal life too.
Stay fit and flexible
To be honest, I’ve just been doing okay about going to the gym. I definitely need to step up my game and have a more consistent workout schedule. I’d also really like to get back into stretching. My goal is to stretch at least 15 minutes per day!
Get back into watercolor
I think having a hobby that’s not tied to my business is really important for me. I’d like something that’s slower paced, where I can be completely immersed in the task and let my creative juices flow. For me, I think
Grow my business
This one is pretty obvious but still needs to be said. I just passed my three-month mark of being self-employed so focusing on growing my business is my number one priority right now. As long as I stay consistent and keep a positive and determined mindset, I think I’ll continue to grow.
Send more handwritten letters & birthday cards
Who doesn’t love receiving personal mail? This year, I would love to send out more handwritten or handmade cards and letters.
Wake up early
If I wake up early, I immediately start my day off on the right foot. However, if my morning begins with me sleeping in or hitting the snooze button twenty-five times, I’m already off to a rough start. Monday through Friday, I’d like to be extremely diligent about this. I’d like to have enough time for coffee, breakfast, and the gym before starting my work day.
