Photography eBook Announcement!
Do you ever see a photo and think,
“I wonder what camera settings they used?”
When I was first starting out with photography, I remember thinking that a lot. I’d snap a photo, it wouldn’t turn out and I’d sit there wondering what settings a professional photographer would have chosen. I had no idea where to even begin.
For me, it would have been really helpful to have some visuals – example photos with the settings listed underneath. Having something like this would have been a complete game changer.
With that said, I’m super excited to announce that I’m putting together my first ever ebook about this! I’ll be sharing a handful of my photos with the exact settings that I used to capture them.
Now, it’s one thing to know the technical settings – but what about why those settings were chosen in the first place? Why did I pick f/4? Why did I end up choosing a shutter speed of 1/800?
In this ebook, not only will I be sharing the exact settings I used but also my thought process in choosing them.
Now, keep in mind, knowing the camera settings doesn’t mean you’ll achieve the exact same photo. There are a few other factors that contribute to the final image. Lighting, location, and post-processing are just a few that determine how the end product will look. But, by knowing the camera settings I used, this gives you something to work off of. It gives you a starting point to begin understanding why certain settings are used – which is what so many beginners struggle with.
