Gear Review: Pansel Snowshoes
One of my favorite purchases this winter have been my new snowshoes! I bought them off of Amazon a few weeks ago (I went with the 25-inch pair) and have been testing them out ever since. So today, I thought I’d do a short review on them!
Overall, I really like these snowshoes! I think they’re perfect for any beginner who’s looking for an inexpensive yet functional option. I think my favorite thing about these snowshoes is how lightweight they are. I barely feel like I have anything on my feet! Plus, they even come with a nice carrying case! On the underside of the snowshoes, you’ll find aluminum-alloy crampons, perfect for providing traction. I found this especially helpful when going up and down hills (like on the Fallison Lake Trail!) On the top of the snowshoes, you’ll find easy-to-use adjustable bindings – you simply click the red tab to tighten them across your boots and then lift the grey part of the tab to loosen them.
The only negative thing about the
