Last week, I stopped in at the local Ace Hardware and bought my first ever fishing license! Then Sean and I headed out to the lake for some fun!
The other night, we went for a canoe ride. The lake was like glass and the weather was warm. Dragonflies darted about and a loon decided to make a visit.
Last weekend was spent planting our garden and doing lots of yard work at Sean’s house. He’s in the middle of a major remodel and the yard has been a little neglected lately. There was lots of cleaning up to do and a ton of weeds to be pulled, so we put on our work gloves and started tackling it!
One of my favorite things about the beginning of summer is when the lilacs start blooming. Pastel flowers brighten lawns and roadsides, the sweet scent wafting lazily through the air. It’s finally lilac season here in Wisconsin and I’m making sure that I take full advantage of it.
